Question: Do you shoot in color, black & white, or both?

I shoot digital, so I shoot all three, in essence. I can easily convert any percentage of your photos to color, black & white, or both.

I have also been using a variation of an aged look I created which is now becoming a trend in modern photography.

Question: Will the photographer you talk with be the one who actually takes your wedding pictures?

Yes, I am the primary photographer and will be at every shoot. You are hiring me not another photographer.

Question: How many weddings will the photographer shoot on your wedding weekend, or more important, on your wedding day?

I shoot only one (1) wedding per day. It is an exhaustive process and I keep fresh by not over extending myself.

Question: Is the photographer open to a list of must-take photos (pictures you definitely want shot)?

Yes, I prefer it actually. I want to make sure I get all the pictures requested and this can only be acomplished by knowing what you want. The communication process is a key aspect of workflow and ensuring your image request is met.

Question: Do you travel?

Yes. I travel pretty much anywhere worldwide to accomodate events.

Question: Do you shoot with an assistant?

Generally no, but on occasion I will to accomodate the dynamics of the event. Also if it is requested.

Question: When should I schedule my engagement and bridal portrait sitting?

Engagement sittings are generally booked 6-9 months before your wedding date. Bridal portrait sittings are generally booked 2-4 months before your wedding date.

Question: What type of clothing should be worn for our engagement sitting?

We think it’s best to keep it “simple” and “classic.” Stay away from clothing with any words or busy patterns. Black, white, gray and khaki work well being that most engagement sessions are photographed in black and white.

Question: What do I need to prepare for my bridal portrait sitting?

One of the first things you should do is contact your florist to order a bridal portrait bouquet for the day of your session. You should also decide on the location for your session and we can help with that. We’ve found that bringing an old white flat sheet (to place under your dress if needed), plenty of water, good friends or family and extra powder and lipstick will help!

Question: What happens if it rains on the day of my bridal portrait or engagement sitting?

There are a few options for rainy days. The first option is you may choose to have your sitting in studio or home. The second option is you may reschedule. Your sitting may have to be rescheduled a few weeks out. We make every efffort to reschedule.

Question: How long after my engagement or bridal portrait sitting will my proofs be ready to view?

Your proofs will be ready for you to view 2-3 weeks after your sitting.
